EXPERIENCE the original taste of Thailand at Thai Garden in the heart of one of Paignton's older districts.

Palace Avenue is set around a delightful green space right in the middle of town with a lot of medieval history attached, but Thai Garden brings a touch of the Orient to this traditional seaside town.

Established for over 30 years, the restaurant features over 100 dishes, 30 of them vegetarian, with six set menus and set lunches for those who may find the extensive menu a little bit bewildering.

With a capacity of 60 and a licensed bar, the restaurant is open on Bank Holidays as well as throughout the week.

Functions and private parties are catered for.

Opening hours 12noon-3pm and 6pm-11pm (Mon-Sat) Open throughout Bank Holiday weekends.

Sample menu: Tom Kha (milky, hot and sour coconut soup), Green curry, Pad Thai (stir-fried noodles).

Prices start at £3.95 (starter), £4.25 (main course), £2.95 (dessert), £15.95 (set menu), £5.95 (set lunch).
