THE coroner is investigating the death of a 51-year-old Paignton man.
The body of the man, who has not been identified, was discovered by a family member at a flat in Upper Manor Road last week.
Police were called to the property at 1.30pm on Wednesday, September 11.
A spokesman confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.
A file has now been handed to the Torbay and South Devon coroner.
The coroner has yet to establish cause of death and is awaiting the results of drink and drug tests.
They are expected to take between four and six weeks.
The coroner will then decide whether to open an inquest into his death or not.
