POLICE in Newton Abbot are appealing for information after more than 20 Apple iPads worth £5,200 were taken from the Ilsington Church of England Primary School during its summer break.
It is thought the theft took place sometime between July 26 and September 2.
The tablet devices, worth £250 each, were silver in colour and all had a black case
PC Gareth Beynon said: "This is not just a theft from the school but a theft against the community.
"As a result of this, many local young children who attend this school will be denied the learning opportunities these tablet devices offer.
"I would like to hear from anyone who has been recently offered one of these items second hand where its origins are not confidently known."
