CONTROVERISAL play Half a Cod a Day visits Brixham Theatre tonight, bringing a different view on sustainable fishing in Brixham.
Professional theatre company Parrabbola and writer Brian Abbott present the stories and histories of the Fishermen of Hastings, where the trade sits at the heart of the community.
Brian Abbott previously produced Tales from Cabbage Island which was performed during the 2012 Olympic torch relay.
Hastings' outlook on the fishing industry is somewhat different from the Brixham fishermen, or are they really poles apart?
The agitprop play demonstrates the need for change, calling for action individually and globally.
The audience will be presented with a locally and sustainably sourced fish snack in the interval.
They are also invited to participate in a after show question and answer session, which will include guest speakers.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from www.batsweb.org.uk
