A TORQUAY man has been jailed after being caught with more than £1,500 in fake £20 notes.
Clinton Hawker, 48, denied having counterfeit notes with intent to pass them off as genuine but was found guilty at a trial earlier this year.
He was jailed for 20 months by a judge at Exeter Crown Court.
His flatmate and carer Richard Moreton, of the same address, admitted passing one forgery.
He was give a 90-day curfew and ordered to do 120 hours unpaid community work.
