FIREFIGHTERS from Torquay were called to two 'malicious' fires within 10 minutes early today.
The first call came when a wooden shed was set on fire at 4.40am in Braddons Hill Road East.
A spokesman for the fire service said they had received many reports of the blaze.
One crew from Torquay put out the fire.
Ten minutes later in nearby Museum Road a car was set on fire.
One fire appliance from Paignton was sent to the scene and found three cars were well alight.
One of the cars was severely damaged by fire and the other two adjacent vehicles were slighty damaged.
The spokesman said the cause of both fires was 'malicious'.
