THE former licensee of The Yacht pub in Torquay has appeared in court charged with 13 offences of making indecent images of children.
Geoffrey Holmes, 69, pleaded not guilty to all the charges put to him at Torquay Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning.
It is alleged that he made nearly 2,000 images of children of various levels between December 2012 and January 2013.
Ten of the charges relate to Level 1 images on a scale where five is the most serious.
Mr Holmes spoke only to confirm his name and enter a plea during the short hearing.
District Judge Diana Baker told Holmes his case would next be heard at Exeter Crown Court on November 1.
