TRIBUTES have been paid to a 19 year old from Buckfastleigh who died when his motorbike was in collision with a car in Paignton at the weekend.
Greg Taylor had been driving along Kings Ash Road when he was involved in the crash with a VW Golf in the early hours of Sunday morning.
More than 20 floral tributes and heartfelt messages have been left for the parkour fan and keen biker at the scene of the crash.
One message said: “Gregory, missed you loads will miss you always love Nan and Gramps XXXXXXXXXXXX
If our love could have saved you, you would have lived forever.”
His freerunning friends left a message saying: “Greg you were an amazing person to know, knowing you were taken from us so soon fills us with great sadness we are so lucky to have known you and we will miss you Love Kyle, Steph, Lawrence and the rest of the Parkour Gang.”
Mate Kieran wrote: Really going to miss you dude, had some great times and awesome laughs and I hope I see you again one day.
“Ride on, Climb on, Free Run forever.”
A 37 year old man from Trelissick Road was arrested on suspicion of murder and has been released on bail until November 7 while police carry out further enquiries.
In a statement Greg’s family said:
“Greg was a loving brother and son. He was loved unconditionally by all his family and friends and will be remembered always.
“The family respectfully request that they be left alone to grieve in peace at this very difficult time.”
