TORQUAY United legends were edged out on penalties in the semi-final of a competition aimed at helping the Devon FA mark their 125th anniversary at Coach Road, Newton Abbot.
The Gulls' former stars, including the likes of Mark Loram, Alex Russell and Dean Edwards, faced a Devon FA side in the first semi-final.
Two goals from Steve Daley gave the FA what looked like a comfortable lead, but Andy McFarlane and Dean Edwards brought the Gulls level at full-time.
The Devon FA side won the penalty shootout 4-3.
Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City drew 1-1 after normal time in the other semi-final. The Argyle legends won 5-4 on penalties to set up a final against Devon FA.
