PEOPLE who would like to give something back to their community can get free advice when the South Hams Connect roadshow visits Dartmouth.
South Hams Community and Voluntary Service will be on hand to answer questions about volunteering opportunities and the support available in the local area.
The roadshow is at Sainsbury’s in Dartmouth on Wednesday, January 15, from 10.30am to 1pm.
South Hams District Council’s waste and recycling team will also be at the event to answer questions about the household collection service.
South Hams Connect is an outreach service, coordinated by the district council, which provides free advice and information on a variety of public services, support agencies and not-for-profit organisations.
A customer service advisor from the council will host the roadshow in Dartmouth and can help with a range of queries from council tax enquiries to benefits questions.
