SURELY SOMETHING ELSE?: It's hard to imagine that Fleetwood Town manager Micky Mellon was sacked at the weekend just because the club lost at home to Aldershot in the FA Cup.

After all, Mellon had won two promotions, brought Town into the League for the first time last season and they're currently in the Play-Off zone.

ONE GAME AT A TIME..?: With League Two, Capital One Cup, Johnstone's Paint Trophy and FA Cup commitments, United's next opponents Bradford City have just started a spell of 10 games in 33 days.

Because they're booked to meet Arsenal in the Capital One Cup next Tuesday, they've had to put their FA Cup replay against Brentford back to December 18.
