“How many fires have to be started deliberately on Ash Hill Road, just around the corner from Thurlow House Probation Centre before the Police act. This week a language centre, last week a car, last month another car. This area used to be a residentail area with lots of families before they built a Probation Centre there. Now it is multi occupant dwellings for 'facility users'. What to the council want Torquay to become. how low must it fall.”

To quote SigmundFraud in the comments followng the original story, "The Kaplan school is at the Castle Road end of Ash Hill Road, no where near Thurlow Road or The Probation Service building. And they didn't build it, they took over a building already there."

The 'facility users' are 'taking over' the surrounding area in the 'multi occupant' dwellings that used to be family homes. It is becoming gangland and now seems to be a 'no go' area for the Police.

Now a story of a fire started deliberately on Thurlow Road. Ash Hill Road and Thurlow Road join each other right at the point where Thurlow House Probation Centre is ! Liberals like to bring criminals into Torquay for resettlement, this is what rehabilitation brings. Do we need a death before it is sorted out.

Just goes to show that putting some of these criminals on probation is doing a lot less to protect the public than putting them into custody would have done. Its difficult to torch people's cars from inside a gaol and there is no fear of the consequences being on probation

Another car fire started deliberately this week. The centre of Torquay is becoming a slum area. It is like walking through a south African township.

A boat, a fence and a garage this week, all in one night. UKIP want to rename the Police service the Police Force, maybe they should think about The Police Farce.

The Police are beginning to suspect 'arson'. Nice to see our Council Tax money is not being wasted.

More cars this week. The original post was in May. How long will this go on for. It can't be anything to do with the probation centre, the doss houses or all the drug rehab facilities in the area. If it was 5 star hotels it would be the same wouldn't it. 'Just going out darling to torch some cars', 'OK honey, don't be long remember it's the theatre tonight'.

    Yet more fires this week.

Another van fire, palestine seems quiter these days, you do see the police on the streets there though, they don't tend to rely on PCSO's to keep the peace there.

    It's still going on Sydney.

    Do you hear voices?

  • HoChiLi  |  June 12 2013, 9:46AM

How much crime does the Thurlow House probation centre situated in the heart of a residential area bring to the surrounding area.

  • dizzyjill  |  June 29 2013, 12:12AM

Another arson attack on a car in ellacombe road this week Torquay is fast becoming the slum of the south west.
