How exciting for little ones who will be starting school for the very first time, what a lovely journey they all have ahead of them.
Of course we're going to miss them dreadfully, but now it's time to pop on those backpacks, buffer those new shoes and tidy up the hair and wave goodbye to them as they embark on their first year of school!
Let's mark this momentous event & feature them all looking so proud & smart in their school uniform in our newspapers with our First Class Photo Special.
Whether it’s the obligatory ‘front door’, ‘fireplace’ or ‘at the school gate pose’, all photos will be included! We welcome class photos too!

Tuesday 12th October - Mid Devon Gazette
Wednesday 13th October - The Herald Express
Thursday 14th October - North Devon Journal and the Express and Echo.
Deadline for submissions is midnight on Thursday 7th October 2021.

By submitting a photo you have read and understood the terms and conditions associated with First Class and agree to have your photo published in your selected newspaper in print and possibly online and on the facebook page.
Devonlive & Reach PLC deems that the parent/guardian or school stated when entering has full responsibility and permission for the named child and has given permission for their child to be photographed.
Images should ideally be in jpeg format, be at least 200 pixels per inch and should be no bigger than 2mb.
Proof of submission is not proof of receipt and entries will not be accepted without full contact details.
Supplement
All photos will appear in a special keepsake supplement in the newspapers, the dates published may be subject to change however we will notify you in advance.
Devonlive and Reachplc accepts no responsibility for any error, misprint or omission in the printing of an entrant's details or photo. Although every effort will be made to ensure all entrant's photographs are published and are of the highest quality in the event of any unforeseen circumstances where they do not appear, no compensation will be offered.
