ALL roads lead to Buckfastleigh this weekend as The Simmertones top the bill at the town's all-action music festival.

The ever-popular ska band will be playing tunes from their recent EP Everything's Coming Up Ska, which also featured the talents of guitarist Steve Cradock.

The EP has been picking up airplay nationally and locally, and Roddy Byers of The Specials is among those to have been won over by their talents.

The festival takes place in Buckfastleigh Town Hall on Saturday and the music starts from 7pm.

Also on the bill are the Becca Langsford Band, showcasing the talents of their Cornish-born front woman and comprising former Wildcards Vince Lee and Martin Vowles, plus drummer Chris Wilkinson.

Classic covers band Overdriven are there too, along with the Simon Scott Trio.

For tickets, call Jon on 07765 483139 or call at Huccabys newsagents or the Globe Inn. There will also be some tickets on the door.

There will be a bar, and for the latest details you can log on to http://buckfastleighmusicfestival.moonfruit.com
