Hundreds of people in the South Hams have already had their say on the future shape of household recycling and waste collections in the District but there is still time to add your voice.

Residents have until October 10 to comment on all aspects of the recycling and waste collection service.

South Hams District Council is reviewing its future kerbside recycling and waste service to see if recycling rates can be increased while still offering good value for residents.

A series of roadshows and evening drop ins will continue to tour the District next month visiting Dartmouth, Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Totnes.

Anyone who cannot get to one of the events can complete a questionnaire at their local Town Council office, Kingsbridge and Totnes Libraries, Salcombe Tourist Information Centre, The Watermark in Ivybridge and South Hams District Council’s Offices at Follaton House in Totnes.

If it is more convenient, please complete the questionnaire online on our website: www.southhams.gov.uk

The roadshow and evening drop in dates for October are:

Oct 1 Salcombe, White Strand Car Park 10am-12noon

Oct 2 Dartmouth Market 830am-4pm

Oct 2 Totnes Civic Hall 630pm-8pm

Oct 5 Salcombe School, Main Hall 630pm-8pm

Oct 9 Kingsbridge, Quay House 530pm-8pm
